Who We Are
“Demut” in German translates as “humility” in English. In its deeper meaning however it means “Mut zu dienen” meaning “the courage to serve.” Service to a cause that stands higher than one’s self. Our motto at Demut Language Hub is “…growing German in Nigeria”. It reflects the vision of it founder who has throughout his life been connected in a unique way with Germany-its people, its language, culture and economy. Although language is central to its focus, the vision is wider and encompasses many areas where German and Nigerian interests intersect.
